The author of this document holds a degree in advanced water treatment from the American Water Works Association, Indiana Section. He has been a state certified water treatment plant and distribution system operator for over twenty-five years. He has over twenty-five years experience in commercial swimming pool filtration and five years experience in commercial water filtration for photographic processing labs. He has approximately 30 semester credit hours from Purdue University in Chemistry, Math, Physics, Engineering and Communication. He is also a YMCA certified Pool Operator On Location (a certification recognized in courts of law). He is also required to obtain at least fifteen contact hours of IDEM approved continuing education every three years.
